Cancer rehabilitation is one of the most cost-effective ways to improve life after cancer—reducing disability, decreasing hospital readmissions, and supporting faster returns to work and the activities they love.
Our network of certified oncology physiotherapists provides expert, individualised care, tailored to each person’s age, cancer type, and stage of recovery across New Zealand.
Dry July Trust NZ supports the PINC & STEEL group programmes nationwide for people affected by any type of cancer.
A Certified PINC & STEEL Oncology Rehabilitation Clinician will work with you one on one and design each session to suit your individual requirements. These sessions can be accessed any time throughout your cancer treatment or recovery.
The PINC & STEEL Cancer Rehabilitation Group Class Programs are delivered by Certified Oncology Clinicians and offer individualised exercise rehabilitation within a group setting. We offer a variety of group classes and your certified PINC & STEEL Clinician will direct you to the class which is most suitable for you.
If people don't get rehabilitated after cancer it can affect their ability to work, their families, their physical, emotional and social wellbeing and their long-term health.
Cancer rehabilitation and exercise can reduce side effects of the disease and debilitating cancer treatments, and can improve functional ability, quality of life and ultimately, survival.
PINC & STEEL helps reduce the burden and impact of cancer on patients and their families' lives.
